Womens Retreats

Fifth Annual Women's Retreat, June 10-12, 2016

This year's theme was Women Saints - We studied Clare of Assisi, Catherine of Siena, Joan of Arc, Teresa of Avila, Julian of Norwich, and Therese of Lisieuw. The weekend was dedicated to study and reflection in the beauty and quiet spaces of the Meadowkirk Retreat Center. We enjoyed hiking, swimming and much singing, with special singing of "It is Well With My Soul" and "Shout to the Lord." We made prayer boxes and celebrated the pastor's birthday as well!

Fourth Annual Women's Retreat, March 6- March 8, 2015

Women's Retreat March 6-8 at the Meadowkirk Retreat Center in Middleburg, VA. This year's theme
is “Celtic Food for the Soul.” Car pooling will be arranged. We can take 18 women. Sign up now in
Narthex and on bulletin boards on lower level of church. Cost is $60 per person; financial support
provided as needed. If anyone would like to sponsor another person's participation, you can do so by
making a check out to RPC, with notation "Women's Retreat."

Third Annual Women's Retreat, March 7 - March 9, 2014

Meadowkirk Conference and Retreat Center, Middleburg, Va. Theme:Practicing Lent: Receiving Forgiveness. Life-changing and fun! Two words to describe the 2014 Women's Retreat! We had a ball - we bonded, we worshiped, and we drew closer to God each day. We learned to pray in color; we shattered pottery and re-built ourselves. Second Annual Women's Retreat - March 1 - 3, 2013

A wonderful Women's Retreat "Rags to Riches Redemption: Ruth" at the Saint Mary’s Retreat Center in Leonardstown, MD from March 1-3. We prayed together, learned together and played together.
